Relaxed and refreshed from my break away I’m back and raring to go! Andy has done a great job of keeping everything going but I’m sure he’ll be happy to get back to a bit of sanding and polishing.

This beautiful stone statue of a sleeping angel would make a great garden feature. It’s very heavy and has some lovely detailing particularly on the wings. It measures H40cm W45cm £50

Obviously I’m slacking this morning as a bit late with the post🙈 but in my defence I have been trying to sort out car insurance over the phone and we all know what that’s like 🙄
Anyway get a load of this lantern…picture doesn’t do it justice as to size …. stands at 90 cms tall and diameter 27 cms. Just imagine the size of the candle you could house in it 😉or twinkly lights.
The metal has a verdigris finish which adds to grandeur and glass panels.

Jill’s having a lovely time at her luxury spa hotel in the Cotswolds and my beans on toast for tea last night was lovely 😂😂😂
As I’ve been left in charge 🙈 I thought we’d have a price reduction on our 5ft x 3ft pine table and chairs….it was £365 but how about £275 which includes free local delivery.
The chunky table legs and base has been painted in Elephants Breath (Farrow and Ball) and there are 6 slat back chairs.
Usually such a price reduction has to go through several committee meetings but hey I’m in charge 😂
No golf today and was hoping to carry on with garden project but weathers a bit iffy….

A beautiful iconic print of Marilyn Monroe taken from a 1954 photograph from Baron studios, it shows Marilyn in the Californian sunshine looking at her most relaxed.

A very sad day yesterday as we had to say goodbye to Monty, our beloved cat of 14years. He was quite a character and never shy of the camera. In fact you may remember from some of our photos, as you can see here….he loved the limelight. We’re going to miss him terribly 🥲 but he’s left us with some great memories ❤️

On a lighter note, Crafty Badger art & social will be opening this Friday and it’s going to be a great arty place to go! If you are interested in any items we have a “Studio/Viewing room” in Southport where we can arrange to meet you so you can see it in person before purchasing.

We also offer a free local delivery service for furniture items.

Valuation Days

We will continue to host the ever popular valuation days on the first Tuesday of each month. They will be held at the same location, 18 Botanic Road at the new Crafty Badger Art and Social

Warren & Wignall, our local auctioneers will be there to appraise your precious items.

We invite you to bring along your treasures to be valued. This is a free service however you will then have the option to put your item in the auction if you wish to sell.

OUR STORY

Vintage Home is a family run business which has had a few changes over the years.

First opening a shop in Wayfarers Arcade in 2007, moving to a warehouse style shop in Birkdale in 2017. Our final bricks and mortar shop was in quant village of Churchtown.

We are now based solely online which frees up more time to find more fabulous stock at auctions and antique fairs over the country.

We pride ourselves in taking all aspects of vintage living from repurposing and recycling old furniture to selling one off antiques.
